DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park

Spend the afternoon exploring DeCordova’s outdoor Sculpture Park and you will discover a giant pig, rooster, sharks, and a whole lot more! DeCordova has 80 amazing sculptures on its grounds in addition to what you will find inside the museum. DeCordova is New England’s premiere contemporary art venue, but it’s also a great place to have a picnic lunch, go for a hike around Sandy Pond, or play with all the cool gadgets in the gift shop.

The main galleries sculpted into a gentle slope above the Park contain a stunning array of contemporary art. Photography, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art all blend into a wonderful and memorable experience. From the beautiful to the out of the ordinary, the DeCordova’s galleries offer a wide variety of artistic styles and statements.

There’s really something for everyone at the DeCordova and it’s a great place for kids. The huge outdoor xylophone just begs to be played! No matter the season, the museum and newly re-landscaped sculpture park is a beautiful setting, both indoors and out.
